Company & Product Updates
Mono Credit History Lookup API
We recently launched the Mono Credit History Lookup endpoint, as part of our Lookup product suite. This endpoint allows you to easily access potential borrowers’ accurate credit information using their BVN, which they have consented to share with your business.
This also enables you to retrieve and view your users’ recent and historical credit information of up to 5 years, directly from two of the biggest credit bureaus in Nigeria, and power faster, low-risk lending decisions. This feature costs N300 per API call for one institution and N600 per API call to both institutions. Here's how to get started now.
The Mono BVN Lookup API
We have upgraded the Mono BVN Lookup endpoint and included a way for you to retrieve all the bank accounts linked to a customer’s BVN. We used to provide this service via the 360°-view endpoint, which we will be deprecating soon and making only accessible through the BVN endpoint.
This means you can now access users’ BVN identity details and bank account information, with their consent via the BVN Lookup endpoint. Try out this endpoint.
Mono 2023 video highlights
2023 was an important year for us, our community, and the businesses that use Mono. Before we started the year, we took some time to reflect on what we have built and achieved over the past year and shared our favourite highlights in a recap video.
Protecting and managing your customers' data
For Data Privacy Day, we hosted a webinar where we shared valuable insights into how African businesses can build products that prioritize user rights, comply with data privacy and protection regulations, and implement effective incident monitoring practices. Watch the replay.
