At Mono, we are making it easier for users to securely share their financial data with digital businesses across Africa. One way we are making this possible is through the Mono Connect Widget.
At the core, we care about the end-users experience so we recently rebuilt the Mono Connect Widget to make the user onboarding experience a lot smoother and faster.
What is the Mono Connect Widget?
With the Mono Connect Widget, users are able to securely connect their financial account with businesses in seconds. For the business, this gives them access to user authorized financial and identity data through the Mono API.
You have complete control over who can have access to your financial data so Mono won’t share your data with these businesses without your consent. Mono or the businesses you linked your financial account to can’t move your funds without your consent too. You also have the option to unlink financial accounts connected through Mono.
To use the Mono Connect Widget on any app or website:
Step 1
Choose which financial account to link
- could be GTB, UBA, KUDA etc.
Step 2
Select log in method
- you can log in with your internet or mobile banking details.
And you are done!
Your financial account is now securely linked with the businesses requesting for it
